A call for all jazz lovers to join the Jogja International Jazz Camp, held on November 25-28, 2021. The implementation of this event is a collaboration between the D4 Music Presentation Study Program, Faculty of Performing Arts, ISI Yogyakarta and Jog Jac, in one goal, namely supporting the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) program. This event will be a 28-hour intensive music education with variant instruments, all performed by Indonesian educators going international and international musicians from USA, Holland, Brazil and Poland.
As a continuation of the Jogja International Jazz camp held in 2020, ISI Yogyakarta has its own legacy where most of the great artists in Indonesia developed music education. This event aims to bring ISI Yogyakarta music students and the general public closer to experts and practitioners in the world of the jazz music industry. Students can directly learn from experts in the world of the jazz music industry, so it is hoped that they will gain knowledge, insights, and skills that are in line with the development of the music industry, especially jazz. The showcase recital will end the event, of course, involving all participants and teachers to collaborate and share the stage.
