A new color in the music scene comes through Rachel Zaphaniah, a student of the Music Creation Study Program at Institut Seni Indonesia (ISI), who launched her debut single titled "Seek Warmth" under the American Hear2Ear Records.
The strength of her soulful vocals and her songwriting talent give her first work a distinctive character. Rachel Z describes "Seek Warmth" as an "ear worm"-a song that will stick in the listener's mind and hopefully become a familiar friend.

Hennings, who was introduced to Rachel by Adi Wijaya, a lecturer in ISI Yogyakarta's Music Creation Program, expressed his admiration. With experience in working with big names such as Janet Jackson and Prince, as well as in promoting Indonesian musicians such as Dewa Budjana and Tohpati to the global arena, Hennings sees uniqueness in Rachel.

"What sets Rachel apart is her capacity as a singer-songwriter who is also capable of producing her own work independently. She reminds me of someone like Taylor Swift or Joni Mitchell who has mastered all aspects of her artistry. "Seek Warmth" also has a similar allure to Nadin Amizah's big hit, "Entwined", said Hennings.

Through his label Hear2Ear Records-which evolved from managing UMG's artist catalog to an international label and distributor of emerging talent-Hennings offers global distribution, marketing, and funding support, while encouraging artistic independence.

"As an Executive Producer, my contribution was mostly in the mastering and mixing stages. Rachel is already very capable of handling the music and arrangement aspects. She has determination and a strong work ethic, which is a valuable asset for success in this uncertain music industry," added Hennings.

Towards the end of 2025, Rachel Z plans to release her next single, "Old Christmas". Hennings also expressed her hope to see more work from Rachel after she completes her studies at ISI in 2026. For now, "Seek Warmth," which was released globally on September 6, 2025, is available on all streaming platforms. The music video for "Seek Warmth" is also rumored to be released soon.
