The event, which was held at the ISI Yogyakarta Music Auditorium, presented speakers Nino Ario Wijaya and Dino Yulio Wijaya from the Amadeus Music Foundation Jakarta. Topics discussed included clarinet instrument maintenance, playing techniques, and clarinet ensemble training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Although the covid-19 pandemic is not completely over, this event was held offline while still implementing health protocols, such as using masks and limiting the number of participants. Not only that, the committee also presented a medical team to provide swab tests to all participants and organizers moments before the event began to ensure that all those involved in this event were in a covid-19 negative condition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The event was opened with remarks by Siswadi, M.Sn. as the Dean of FSP ISI Yogyakarta and Kustap, M.Sn. as the Head of Music Study Program FSP ISI Yogyakarta. The first session was delivered by Dino Yulio Wijaya who explained about clarinet instrument maintenance. In his presentation, Dino explained in detail how to install and remove the clarinet, how to clean the inside and outside of the clarinet, how to clean the clarinet. <em>mouthpiece<\/em>to the condition of the clarinet swab or cleaning tool and the condition of the clarinet. <em>Case <\/em>which is good to use. The resource person emphasized to the participants to avoid the accumulation of dirt in the clarinet instrument so as not to affect the quality of the game and keep the instrument durable. Nino said that breathing techniques greatly affect intonation and sound production. In addition, a good breathing technique in playing the clarinet is to use diaphragmatic breathing, because the air obtained will be more than with chest breathing. Nino also gave tips to manage breathing when playing long or fast notes so that it can be played smoothly without being interrupted in the middle. After delivering his material densely and clearly, Nino invited the participants to go up on stage and play ensemble together with the song that had been given before. I thought it was easy, but it turned out to be that complex,\" she said. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Christo also said that the thing to pay attention to in playing ensemble is to equalize the intonation between each other. <em>section<\/em> so that the sound produced does not sound discordant. According to Christo, the duration of the ensemble playing session was not long enough and detailed enough. The material presented was very easy to capture and understand. In addition, the participants also showed high enthusiasm in participating in this event.
