The Department of Theater FSP ISI Yogyakarta represented by Rano sumarno, M.Sn., & Dendi Abdilah, became the Indonesian delegation at the BRICS + Countries Drama Schools Festival event, in Moscow Russia (September 19-29, 2025).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
BRICS+ member countries, such as: Russia, Indonesia, Brazil, India, China, South Africa, Iran, UAE, & Belarus, were also present to perform theater shows with their respective cultural characters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Indonesia performed 2 theater shows, namely: \"The Orphan of Zao\" at VDNKh park & \"The Scream of Bhatara Kala\" at Moscow University of Theatrical Arts (Kobzon).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Each lecturer from BRICS+ members gave a workshop to all students who attended the event. The workshop material from Indonesia was \"theater acting training with the sarong method\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prior to the event, the Indonesian delegation was welcomed and supported by the Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia to the Russian Federation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
