S1 Performing Arts Education

The Performing Arts Education Study Program, previously named the Art, Drama Dance and Music Study Program, is oriented to answer the needs of arts educators as one of the pillars of national character building. The excellence of the ISI Yogyakarta Performing Arts Education study program in science development is to develop integrated art learning models / strategies.
Professional education for cultural arts teachers is an academic education that emphasizes integrated arts learning in order to become a professional cultural arts teacher. The performing arts education curriculum is structured with an emphasis on an integrated and competency-oriented learning process focused on the education of three fields of art namely drama, dance and music. The study of sendratasik education has received a mandate in July 2014 with Permit Number 30/m/Kp/III/2015 (March 20, 2015).
As an initial result, the sendratasik study program already has several active students who teach in kindergartens and high schools. This proves that sendratasik education fully supports its students to become prospective educators and professionals / artists in the field of drama, dance and music education, and supports the process of nation building in the arts.
