For more than four decades, the Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta through the activities of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, has made a very large contribution to the development of human resources in the field of performing arts as researchers, practitioners, and art managers, who are spread at home and abroad. In 2024, this faculty is ranked 101-120 QS World University Rankings by Subject in the field of Performing Arts and has been certified ISO 21001: 2018 and 9001: 2015.

Through eleven study programs in the field of performing arts, the Faculty of Performing Arts has a vision to become a pioneer of superior, creative, and innovative performing arts higher education based on Pancasila, and is committed to organizing quality performing arts higher education, prioritizing the preservation, management, and development of artistic potential, as well as culture and local wisdom of the archipelago that is competitive in the global arena.
