[vc_row][vc_column offset=”vc_col-lg-9 vc_col-md-9″][vc_column_text]Sebanyak 28 kelompok drum corp se-Indonesia telah mengikuti event Indonesia Drum Corp Championship (IDCC) 2017 yang diselenggarakan di Stadion Maulana Yusuf Ciceri, Kota Serang, Banten, 12 s.d 15 Oktober 2017, termasuk salah satunya adalah Saraswati Drum Corps ISI Yogyakarta. Event bernama lengkap Bank BJB IDCC tersebut dihelat untuk kedua kalinya oleh Indonesia Drum Corp Association (IDCA) yang berkedudukan di Kota Serang, Banten. IDCA sendiri adalah organisasi drum corp di Indonesia afiliasi dari Drum Corp International (DCI) yang berkedudukan di Amerika Serikat.
The drum corp groups will participate in various competitions, such as the drum corp competition itself, sound sport, drumline battle and street parade. The event also competes in individual competitions, namely brass talent and percussion talent. The participants, both groups and individuals, will be judged by a team of judges whose names are well known in the international drum corp world, such as Albert Lo, Nipat Kanchanahud, Steve Ulicny, Becca Sullen and Ken Giese. There are also famous names in the international drum corp world such as Mike Anderson and Roger Carter who will act as guest stars.
For the Soundsport category, Saraswati Drum Corps ISI Yogyakarta won first place with a total score of 87.33 outperforming 14 other drum corps groups for the same category.
