The Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta is proud to report that the entire series of Independent Selection Phase II for new student admissions for the 2025/2026 academic year has run smoothly and successfully. This Phase II Independent Selection process is a crucial part in screening the best talents to join our excellent study programs. The selection, which took place on July 14-16, 2025, was attended by participants who had passed the Phase I Selection, which was an online assessment of academic scores and portfolios. Phase II participants came from five available selection channels: Independent Undergraduate Diploma, 3T Region Affirmation, Achievement Affirmation, Regional Representative Affirmation, and Disability Affirmation.
The Phase II selection involved various study programs under the Faculty of Performing Arts, including:
- Department of Dance: S1 Dance Study Program
- Karawitan Department: S1 Karawitan Study Program
- Department of Music: S1 Music Study Program
- Department of Music Education: S1 Music Education Study Program
- Department of Music Creation: S1 Music Creation Study Program
- Department of Music Presentation: D4 Music Presentation Study Program
- Department of Theater: S1 Theatre and D4 Musical Theatre Study Program
- Department of Ethnomusicology: S1 Ethnomusicology Study Program
- Department of Pedalangan: S1 Pedalangan Study Program
- Department of Performing Arts Education: S1 Performing Arts Education Study Program
During the three days of implementation, prospective students showed their best abilities and talents through practical tests and interviews directly on the ISI Yogyakarta campus. We appreciate the enthusiasm and dedication of all participants who have participated. The smoothness of this process cannot be separated from the hard work of the selection committee, the full support of the examining lecturers, and the active participation of all related parties.
