This workshop is one of a series of Revitalization Transformation programs towards BLU organized by Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta.

International accreditation is important for study programs at the Faculty of Performing Arts because it covers several things, including:

  1. International Standards: International accreditation sets globally recognized standards for the quality of education and teaching. It helps ensure that study programs meet internationally recognized requirements, thus enhancing the reputation and credibility of the institution.
  2. Global Competitiveness: Internationally accredited study programs are more easily accepted in the global market. This is an additional point for students who want to work or continue their studies abroad, as well as for universities that want to attract students and faculty from different parts of the world.
  3. Collaboration: International accreditation facilitates collaboration between educational institutions from different countries, opening the door for student and faculty exchanges, collaborative and multidisciplinary research that can enhance learning experiences, competencies, insights, innovation, networking, and key performance indicators.
  4. Improving the Quality of Education: The international accreditation process encourages study programs and institutions to continuously improve the quality of education and its various supporting aspects.
  5. Reputation and Recognition: International accreditation provides strong external recognition of the quality of study programs and educational institutions. This can help improve the institution's reputation at the national and international levels, as well as increase trust from various parties including students, parents, stakeholders, and the general public.

Through the entire series of activities and materials presented at the Workshop on the Preparation of International Accreditation Forms, overall, 9 Study Programs at the Faculty of Performing Arts are ready to step towards international accreditation so that the quality and standards that exist in each study program can be recognized globally.
