Declaration of Integrity Zone Development Towards a Region Free from Corruption (WBK) and a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Region (WBBM) Faculty of Performing Arts Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta

July 1, 2022 was an important moment for the Faculty of Performing Arts, Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta, because on that date the declaration of the Integrity Zone Development Towards a Corruption-Free Area (WBK) and a Clean and Serving Bureaucratic Area (WBBM) was carried out. In the declaration, the Integrity Pact was signed between the Dean of the Faculty of Performing Arts and the entire FSP Integrity Zone Team with the Vice Rector II and the Head of the BAAKPSI Bureau of ISI Yogyakarta.

The development of an Integrity Zone within the Faculty of Performing Arts is very important and urgent for several reasons. First, corruption can be committed by anyone, anywhere and anytime, including in higher education. Therefore, educators and education personnel from the beginning must distance themselves from the possibility of corruption. Second, through the development of integrity zones within the Faculty of Performing Arts, it is expected to be able to foster an anti-corruption bureaucratic work culture and a bureaucratic culture that focuses on public services through the development of pilot work units within the Faculty of Performing Arts. Third, the Integrity Zone development program at the Faculty of Performing Arts is in line with the bureaucratic reform program at Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta which has long been implemented, this is indicated by activities in the realm of integrity zones in terms of changes in mindset, work culture, and employee discipline, organizational structuring, governance, transparent HR management, open filling of positions, auction of procurement of goods and services through an online system, strengthening internal accountability and supervision, and improving public services. In addition, from the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) examination of the financial statements, ISI Yogyakarta has several times received the title of Unqualified (WTP).
