The 2nd International Dance Conference and Festival 2021

Dance Study Program, Faculty of Performing Arts, Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta will hold activities The 2nd International Dance Conference and Festival (IDCF) 2021 which will be held on October 28-30, 2021 at the ISI Yogyakarta Campus. This activity consists of the International Dance Conference which will be held online on October 28, 2021, starting at 08.30 WIB, and the Dance Festival will be held for three days from October 28 to 30, 2021 and can be watched starting October 28, 2021, at 20.00 WIB.

This IDCF 2021 activity takes the theme "Dance: Adaptation During Covid 19 Pandemic" with sub-themes:

  1. Dance in the new media configuration
  2. Dance Production and Expression
  3. Intellectual Property (IP) and Broadcasting Ethics of virtual performing arts products
  4. A new approach to dance performance management
  5. New methods and approaches to networking
  6. A new strategy for capturing audiences for dance performance digital products
  7. Other research results

The sub-theme can be presented in the form of virtual dance works and writing.

International Dance Conference activities, The 2nd International Dance Conference and Festival (IDCF) 2021 This event will be opened by Prof. Dr. M. Agus Burhan, M.Hum as the Rector of Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta and Drs. Siswadi M.Sn. as the Dean of the Faculty of Performing Arts, Institut Seni Indonesia Yogyakarta. This activity also presents Gusti Kanjeng Ratu Hayu (Penghageng Tepas Tandhayekti Kraton Yogyakarta) as the Keynote Speaker, and presents speakers from abroad, namely:

  2. Martinus Miroto (Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta)
  3. Wilson Lau (National Taiwan University)
  4. Wan-Chao Chang (Wan Chao Dance, France)
  5. Surasak Jamnongsam (Srinakharinwirot University Thailand)
  6. Liao Yu-Ling (National Taiwan University)
  7. Muhammad Fazli Taib Bin Saearani (UPSI Malaysia)
  8. Yosef Adityanto Aji (Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta)
  9. Ammy Aulia Renata A (Candra Mustika Tulungagung Art Studio)
  10. Darmawan Dadijono (Indonesian Institute of the Arts Yogyakarta)

IDCF 2021 will also feature 19 virtual dance performances over 3 days. The dancers who will perform at the 2021 Dance festival come from Indonesia, Taiwan, China, Ecuador, the United States and Japan. In this virtual dance performance, the public can watch traditional and virtual dance performances.
