Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta Organizes International Conference of Performing Arts (ICPA)

On Wednesday and Thursday, November 9 and 10, 2076 at 08.30 at the ISI Yogyakarta Concert Hall Building, the Faculty of Performing Arts ISI Yogyakarta will hold an International Conference of Performing Arts [CPA]. with the theme Reinforcing the Performing Arts Towards the ASEAN Economic Community Challenges, Opportunities and Strategies.
As stated by the Assistant Dean I as well as the Chairman of the Committee, Dr. Bambang Pudjasworo, M.Hum that since 2015 the ASEAN Economic Community [AEC] has been implemented and Indonesia has participated in it. The AEC is a free market in the Southeast Asian region in the fields of capital, goods and services, and labor, this condition will certainly increase market expansion on the one hand, and the tightness of competition on the other, so that policies are needed including competition policy, consumer protection, Intellectual Property Rights flPR), taxation, and E-Commerce. The implementation of the AEC not only affects economic development but also other sectors, such as art education, and the preservation and protection of cultural artworks. The issue that arises is how educational strategies are made so that performing arts are more stable nationally and globally. How government regulations and policies are implemented to protect performing arts works. How is the role of cultural diplomacy able to facilitate and manage performing arts in foreign countries.
