Youth Music Camp 2016, DIY Provincial Government's Cultural Cooperation with Melbourne Symphony Orchestra

Sunday, October 23, 2016, ISI Yogyakarta's Concert Hall was chosen as the venue for the Youth Music Camp 2016. A total of 40 young people from Yogyakarta were selected as participants of Youth Music Camp 2016. Through a rigorous selection with certain criteria, 2 participants will be selected to be sent to attend a short music education in Australia, as stated by the Governor of Yogyakarta Sri Sultan HB X in his speech.

Of the 40 participants 18 of them came from ISI Yogyakarta, the others from SMM 15 people, UNY 3 people, Budi Mulia Junior High School 3 people, and from DeBrito High School 1 participant. For instructors 5 people came from MSO (Melbourne Symphony Orchestra): Steve Reeves, Michelle Woods, Gabrielle Halloran, Sarah Curro, Monica Curro, and 5 people from Yogyakarta: Budi Ngurah, Fajar Ghanif, Elok Shinta, Agustianto, and Agung Prasetyo.
